What's in a Name?

Around the Winter Solstice of 2018, I was considering starting a YouTube Channel.  I wanted an Old Norse sounding name. After searching Google Domains for several days. I started to combine Viking like names. As I found a possible name. I would Google It.  Most things I tried had lots of Google content.  I wanted something unique and kind of rare.  When I tried Leif and TYR, I got very little search results.  Most of the LeifTyr searches found only old news , in the 1870-1890 time period. And not much of that. So on December 21, 2018 around 4:00pm central time,  I whipped out ye ole visa and purchased the domain "LeifTyr.com" .  Yup, I purchased a Norse sounding domain name on the 2018 Winter Solstice as the sun was setting.  That's cool.

To the best of my knowledge linking these two names was not common.  I suspect linking, Leif which means "Son of" and TYR who was a Viking God of Justice, simply was not done.   I think it implies Son of (a Viking) God.  The conversion of the Vikings to Christianity (around 950AD to 1020AD) would have reduced the chances of combining the two names.

The short answer is: LeifTyr is a made up name for this website.
